This work is an exploration of the parallels between an environment and those who inhabit it. As part of the ongoing research into the relationship of Frames as a tool to showcase objects of value such as artworks, this work explores the values we hold towards our regional environment. Through use of regional material to create a solid skeleton to an otherwise transient geographical landmark, the Dune.

The work acknowledges our living bodies as frames, that carry value through a lifetime, ever evolving and ever changing. Finding parallels between these living forms and those found in our landscape, both in constant state of evolution. The formal qualities of the work aim to blur the lines between one’s body and the landscape they inhabit, questioning the relationship of both to one another.
